SWIMMING POOL
A creamy, blue-tinged Piña Colada. Adapted from a cocktail created in 1979 by the famous German bartender, Charles Schumann, presumably at Harry's New York Bar in Berlin where he began working in 1973 before opening his own Schumann's American Bar in 1982.
Ingredients
For 1 cocktail : Show liquids in centiliters (cl)- 0.2 Oz Fresh Cream
- 0.5 Oz Coco cream
- 0.5 Oz Vodka
- 1 Oz White Rum
- 1.5 Oz Pineapple Juice
- 0.2 Oz Blue Curacao
Cocktail directions
- To make in a shaker.
- Pour the vodka, white rum and blue curaçao into the shaker.
- Then add the coconut cream, liquid cream and pineapple juice.
- Add crushed ice to the shaker and shake for 15-20 seconds.
- Pour the mixture into a cocktail glass.
- Your Swimming Pool cocktail is ready to enjoy!
Cocktail service
In a shaker with crushed ice.
Serve in a cocktail glass.
Bartender's tips
Decorate your glass with a slice of pineapple and a candied cherry, stuck on a toothpick.
