DUBONNET COCKTAIL QUEEN ELIZABETH II
Here is the recipe for the ?Dubonnet cocktail?, a fruity, refreshing and slightly bitter drink, served every day before lunch to Her Majesty the Queen of England. She religiously enjoyed this vintage cocktail, composed of English gin and Dubonnet. Elizabeth II would have inherited this habit from the Queen Mother who herself enjoyed a Dubonnet and gin every lunchtime. Could this be his secret to longevity?
Ingredients
For 1 cocktail : Show liquids in centiliters (cl)- 0.5 Oz Gin
- 1.5 Oz Red Dubonnet
- 1/2 Lemon slice
Cocktail directions
- Place three ice cubes in a glass Using a cocktail jigger, pour the gin then the Dubonnet rouge into the glass Add half a slice of lemon and mix using a mixing spoon.

This special Queen Elizabeth II cocktail is best enjoyed chilled
Served in an old-fashioned glass.
