EGG-NOG
Eggnog is a rich and creamy drink, made from milk, cream, sugar and egg yolk flavored with nutmeg or cinnamon. Traditionally popular in the United States during the holiday season which begins with Thanksgiving and ends on New Year's Day. Homemade recipes, often passed down from generation to generation, abound and include a wide variety of ingredients, proportions and preparation methods. Originally prepared with raw eggs, they are now generally cooked for health reasons.
Ingredients
For 1 cocktail : Show liquids in centiliters (cl)- 1 Yellow Egg
- 0.5 Oz Orange Liqueur
- 1 Oz Dark Rum
- 3.5 Oz Hot Milk
- 1 Pinch of Cinnamon Powder
Cocktail directions
- Pour all the ingredients into a handled glass or Irish coffee glass.
- Stir quickly.
- Add a pinch of nutmeg.
Cocktail service
With a bender.
Served in a Collins glass.
